The Story Behind Mom's List
I grew up in the family restaurant business, but my greatest teacher was never a chef — it was my mom. We came from a Lebanese family, and when we moved to Canada, food was how she made us feel at home. To give us a break from eating Lebanese food every day, she started a simple weekly tradition: hamburgers and French fries at the table. It wasn’t fancy — it was comfort, love, and choice. That memory never left me.
My mom believed good food starts long before it reaches the kitchen. She read every label. She cared where it came from. She chose the cleanest ingredients she could find. And she always carried a handwritten list.
That list wasn’t just groceries — it was her values:
Family. Honesty. Gratitude. Kindness.
When I looked at the food world, I saw something broken. So I built the restaurant I wished existed — serving the comfort foods we all love, made with real ingredients and total transparency. No hidden ingredients. No shortcuts.Just honest food you can trust.
Mom’s List isn’t just a name. It’s a promise.
To do things the right way.To choose better. And to serve you like family.
Mom’s List.
Good food. Good values. Made with love.Just like she taught us. ❤
